TWINKLE TRUST ANIMAL AID

Twinkle's Farmhouse in Los Estancos.

We are a small UK registered charity dedicated to helping feral or neglected cats abroad. We try to relieve the suffering and ensure the well being of stray and abandoned cats. Our primary role is to humanely control the feral cat population through treatment and sterilisation.

We concentrate our efforts in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands. Our volunteers carry out our sterilisation program from our farmhouse, which is based in the small village of Los Estancos, in the north east of the island. From here the dedicated team of cat catchers travel all over the island thus ensuring that we help in as many locations as possible.

All of our work is performed by unpaid volunteers, who we just could not manage without.

Our special thanks go to Sr. Fermin Silvera Perera, and the rest of the management and staff from "Turicomplex" who have helped and supported our work from the very first trip.
